The hills of Cesena sit at a very particular point: near enough to the Adriatic for the sea to come in at night, close enough to the Casentino Apennines for the days and nights to pull apart. That double influence gives our wines two things that rarely sit together \u2014 warmth and freshness.<\/p>\n

The soil does the rest. It is clay, and in places it is full of marine fossils: what is left of the seabed this hill used to be. The salinity that stretches the finish comes from there.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

Gianni Mancini grew up in the Marche, the grandson of farmers, and spent his working life in IT. In 2021 he bought a cellar that sold its wine in bulk, and decided to make something else of it.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
